Miller Maxstar 161 STL TIG and Stick Welder (907710)
The Miller Maxstar 161 STL (907710) is a DC TIG and stick welder with a digital interface and auto-line 120 V and 240 V power cords. It delivers up to 160 amps, weighs 13 lbs, and this package does not include a TIG torch.
Setup takes three steps: press the menu button to choose the process, hold it for one second to open the user menu, then turn the encoder to set the selected parameter. The machine is DC only and will not TIG weld aluminum. It has an upgraded shoulder strap and handle. Rated material thickness is .020 to 3/16 steel, with electrodes up to 5/32 inch.
