Lincoln Ranger 225 Engine Welder Generator (K2857-1)
The Lincoln Ranger 225 is a gasoline engine-drive DC welder generator rated up to 225 A, with 10,500 watts peak and 9,000 watts continuous single-phase AC power. A totally enclosed case with three service access doors protects its 23 HP Kohler engine.
DC output suits a broad range of stick electrodes, and MIG, flux-cored and TIG welding are possible with optional equipment. Generator power runs lights, grinders and power tools, a Lincoln inverter welder, or a plasma cutter (separate air supply needed), and covers motor starting and emergency power. Sound level is 76.4 dBA at 23 ft (7 m), with 100.7 dB sound power at rated output.
The Kohler gasoline engine is a 2-cylinder, 4-cycle, overhead-valve, air-cooled design with an oil drain extension. A 12-gallon tank feeds it, with a visual fuel gauge on both sides of the unit. Welding and generator outputs are rated at 104 F (40 C).
