Lincoln Flextec 500X Pulsed MIG Multi-Process Welder (K3607-1)
The Lincoln Flextec 500X (K3607-1) is a three-phase DC multi-process power source with pulsed MIG, covering stick, flux-cored, MIG, TIG and gouging. It is rated 100% duty cycle at 450 amps and 60% at 500 amps, with a 5-500 amp output range.
CrossLinc technology lets the operator change weld parameters at the feeder instead of walking back to the power source; standard feeders also work, but the full benefit comes from pairing two CrossLinc devices. Pulsed MIG weld modes cover carbon, stainless and aluminum metal-core electrodes, and connecting an ArcLink feeder opens multiple synergic pulse modes set by mode and wire speed.
The electronics are fully encapsulated and environmentally protected, and the machine is built to handle temperatures up to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. A voltage reduction device lowers open circuit voltage, and the unit gouges with 3/8-inch carbons. Input is 380-600 volt three-phase. The Flextec 500 power source is included; no power cord is included.
