Lincoln Aspect 230 AC/DC TIG Welder (K4340-1)

The Lincoln Aspect 230 (K4340-1) is a portable AC/DC TIG and stick welder with high frequency starting for aluminum, rated up to 230 amps with a 35% duty cycle at that output. It welds material up to 1/4 in thick and adds AC Auto Balance, pulse, adjustable frequency and four AC waveforms.

The four AC waveforms are Soft Square for puddle control, Sine for a soft-sounding arc, Square for faster travel and Triangular for lower heat input on thin material. AC frequency adjusts from 40-400 Hz, AC balance from 35-99% (EN%), AC pulse from 0.1-25% and DC pulse from 0.1-2,000 PPS. Intellistart gives softer starts on thin material and hotter starts on thick material, and memory saves up to 9 welding procedures.

PowerConnect adjusts automatically to input from 120-460V at 50 or 60 Hz. Output is 2-150A on 120V and 2-230A on 208-460V, with a 60% duty cycle at 125A on 120V and at 190A on 230V. A built-in 115V Cooler Power Supply is standard, the fan runs only when needed, and Green Mode puts the machine in standby after 10 minutes of inactivity. It measures 16.5 in H x 9.7 in W x 19.9 in D.
