The Honda BF250DXCDA is a 250 HP four-stroke outboard with a 25-inch shaft, a counter-rotation lower unit and iST drive-by-wire electronic shift and throttle. It is powered by a six-cylinder, 3,583 cc EFI engine with electric start and weighs 617 lbs.

The counter-rotating lower unit is the configuration used on the second motor of a twin rig. Full-throttle range is 5,300 to 6,300 RPM. Standard features listed are the charging system, electronic shift and throttle system, freshwater flush system, power trim and tilt and an owner's manual.
