The Honda BF225DXDA is a 225 HP six-cylinder four-stroke outboard with a 25-inch shaft and Intelligent Shift & Throttle (iST) for electronic shift and throttle. It has EFI and electric starting and weighs 617 lbs.

Its 3,583 cc engine has a full-throttle range of 5,000 to 6,000 RPM. Digital throttle and shift, power trim and tilt, a charging system and a freshwater flush system are standard equipment, and the owner's manual is supplied. A propeller must be purchased separately.
