ESAB Ruffian ES 150G Welder Generator (0707070150)

The ESAB Ruffian ES 150G combines an inverter DC stick welder with an AC generator in one gas-powered unit. It welds at up to 150 A at a 60% duty cycle, and its 14 HP Kohler engine provides up to 4.5 kW of starting power.

Arc Force is adjustable, which lets the operator tune the stick arc, particularly when running 6010 electrodes. The generator output voltage does not depend on the welding current, so electric tools can run while welding without changing the welder settings.

Power is supplied through four 120 VAC, 20 A GFCI receptacles and one 240 VAC (6-50R) receptacle, each covered and protected by a circuit breaker. The outlets can run lights, grinders and hand tools, light-duty plasma cutters and MIG/TIG welders, or serve as backup power. A 5-gallon gas tank, an engine hour meter, large industrial wheels with high ground clearance and removable handles complete the package.
