Cummins Onan Marine QD 27MDKDU-8254A Generator, 27 kW, 50 Hz, 12V
The Cummins Onan Marine QD 27MDKDU-8254A is a marine generator rated 27 kW at 50 Hz, operating at 1500 RPM with a 12-volt system. Electronic controls watch over its essential functions and shut the unit down on their own when a fault appears.
On detecting a problem, the control system stops the generator to protect it and provides diagnostics that help trace the fault quickly. Automatic shutdown is triggered by high cooling water temperature, high exhaust temperature, low oil pressure, poor cooling water flow, overspeed, long start time, and low or high AC voltage and AC frequency.
