Cummins Onan Marine QD 27MDKDU-8253A Generator, 27 kW, 50 Hz, 24V
The Cummins Onan Marine QD 27MDKDU-8253A is a 27 kW marine generator for 50 Hz service, turning 1500 RPM with a 24-volt system. An electronic control system keeps track of its essential functions and stops the set automatically when a fault is found.
When something goes wrong, the controller shuts the generator down before damage occurs and offers diagnostics for fast troubleshooting. Protective shutdowns respond to high cooling water temperature, high exhaust temperature, low oil pressure, poor cooling water flow, overspeed, a long start time, and low or high AC voltage and AC frequency.
