Cummins Onan Marine QD 27MDKDU-8209A Generator, 27 kW, 50 Hz, 24V
The Cummins Onan Marine QD 27MDKDU-8209A is a marine generator rated 27 kW at 50 Hz, operating at 1500 RPM on a 24-volt system. Its electronic control system monitors the essential functions and shuts the unit down automatically if a fault occurs.
The control system protects the generator by stopping it when trouble is detected and provides diagnostics that make the cause easier to find. Automatic shutdown covers high cooling water temperature, high exhaust temperature, low oil pressure, poor cooling water flow, overspeed, long start time, and AC voltage or AC frequency that is too low or too high.
