Baudouin 6M26.3 600–815 HP Heavy Duty Marine Diesel Engine Package
The Baudouin 6M26.3 is a new 15.9L six-cylinder heavy-duty marine diesel engine, turbocharged, intercooled and heat exchanger cooled. Five ratings span 600 hp (441 kW) at 1,800 RPM to 815 hp (599 kW) at 2,100 RPM, and the package includes instrumentation.
Listed ratings are 600 hp (441 kW) and 660 hp (485 kW) at 1,800 RPM, 700 hp (515 kW) at 2,000 RPM, and 750 hp (551 kW) and 815 hp (599 kW) at 2,100 RPM. Fresh-water heat exchanger cooling is standard, keel or skin tank cooling can be fitted instead, and gearbox options are offered. The engine has an SAE 1 flywheel housing with an SAE 14-inch flywheel, electric start, and weighs 1785 kg without gearbox and fluids.
