Baudouin 6M26.2 450–600 HP Heavy Duty Marine Diesel Engine Package

The Baudouin 6M26.2 is a new 15.9L six-cylinder heavy-duty marine diesel engine, turbocharged, intercooled and heat exchanger cooled. Ratings run from 450 hp (331 kW) at 1,800 RPM to 600 hp (442 kW) at 1,950 RPM, and the package includes instrumentation.

The four listed ratings are 450 hp (331 kW) and 500 hp (368 kW) at 1,800 RPM, 550 hp (404 kW) at 1,900 RPM and 600 hp (442 kW) at 1,950 RPM. Cooling is by fresh-water heat exchanger, with keel or skin tank cooling offered as an alternative, and a range of gearbox options is offered. It uses an SAE 1 flywheel housing with an SAE 14-inch flywheel, starts electrically and weighs 1785 kg without gearbox and fluids.
