Baudouin 12M33.2 1300–1500 HP V12 Heavy Duty Marine Diesel Engine Package
The Baudouin 12M33.2 is a new 39.2L twelve-cylinder V12 heavy-duty marine diesel engine, turbocharged, intercooled and heat exchanger cooled. All three ratings, 1300 hp, 1400 hp and 1500 hp, are at 1,800 RPM, and the package includes instrumentation.
The 1300 hp rating equals 956 kW and the 1400 hp rating 1029 kW, both at 1,800 RPM, with a 1500 hp rating at the same speed. Cooling is by fresh-water heat exchanger, with keel or skin tank cooling offered as an alternative, and a range of gearbox options is offered. The engine has an SAE 0 flywheel housing with an SAE 18-inch flywheel, electric start, and weighs 3900 kg without gearbox and fluids.
