Baudouin 12M26.2 900–1200 HP V12 Heavy Duty Marine Diesel Engine Package

The Baudouin 12M26.2 is a new twelve-cylinder V12 heavy-duty marine diesel engine, turbocharged, intercooled and heat exchanger cooled. It is offered in ratings from 900 hp (662 kW) at 1,800 RPM up to 1200 hp (883 kW) at 1,950 RPM, and the package includes instrumentation.

Four power ratings are listed: 900 hp (662 kW) and 1000 hp (736 kW) at 1,800 RPM, 1100 hp (808 kW) at 1,900 RPM and 1200 hp (883 kW) at 1,950 RPM. Heat exchanger fresh-water cooling is standard, keel or skin tank cooling can be specified instead, and a range of gearbox options is offered. The engine uses an SAE 0 flywheel housing with an SAE 18-inch flywheel, starts electrically and weighs 3400 kg without gearbox and fluids.
