An Advance HCT400A heavy-duty hydraulic marine gearbox for commercial applications, supplied in the 9.47:1 reduction ratio. At 9.47:1 it is rated 0.32 hp per RPM, with a maximum input speed of 1800 RPM.

Of the HCT400A ratios listed, 9.47:1 is the highest reduction. The gearbox uses an SAE1 or SAE0 adaptor plate with a 14-, 16- or 18-inch drive plate and mechanical or electronic control, and a gearbox oil cooler is optional.
