2022 Zodiac Open 4.8 Console RIB

The 2022 Zodiac Open 4.8 is a 15-foot console RIB with Hypalon tubes and a GRP deep-V hull, rated for 6 persons. It accepts up to 75 HP on a long (20-inch) shaft, with 50 HP recommended, and has mechanical steering and a 12-gallon fuel tank.

Seating includes a bench with tilting backrest, a console seat, a side seat and a bow cushion, with double storage under the console, under-bench storage, a bow storage cushion and lockable mooring storage. The console has a wheel, windshield, handrail, two USB plugs and two cup holders. Deck hardware includes a bow cleat, fairleads, navigation lights and double lashings, and the 20-inch tubes are removable, with a 165 mm rubstrake, easy-push valves, fishtail cones and antiskid patches.

Motor specifications are given for two Yamaha four-strokes, the F60LB and the F75LB: 60 or 75 HP, 4 cylinders, 996 cc or 1,832 cc, 256 or 353 lbs, EFI and a 20-inch shaft, with electric start, remote mechanical steering, power trim and tilt, a painted aluminum propeller, an analog tachometer and a 5,000-6,000 RPM full-throttle range.
